PART-TIME SHOWROOM ASSISTANT
Table Love, Kaptensgatan 19, Östermalm
This Christmas, we're opening our showroom on Kaptensgatan to the public, set as a Christmas table, and we're looking for someone to help us welcome people in.
Table Love makes hand block-printed, embroidered, quilted and handwoven table linens. We design every pattern in our studio and make each piece with the same artisan workshops season after season. Nothing is mass-produced.
The role
- Greet visitors and help them choose: what's in stock, what goes together, how to dress a table
- Keep the showroom looking beautiful at all times, including steaming, folding and restyling the linens
- Handle sales, returns and exchanges
- Help the team pack and prepare online orders
- Take photos for Instagram when you set up the showroom on Saturdays
Hours
- Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00–17:00
- Saturdays, 11:00–17:00
- Some flexibility to work extended hours now and then
Some days, especially Saturdays, you'll run the showroom on your own, so you need to be comfortable working independently.
About you
- You speak English well
- You've worked in a shop and you're comfortable welcoming customers
- You're good with technology and confident handling card terminals and payment systems
- You've used Shopify for stock, including making stock adjustments
- You care about design, fashion, fabrics and craft
- You're warm, tidy and pay attention to detail
- Gift-wrapping skills are a plus
The job is physical. You'll pack and unpack orders, stand for long periods and lift boxes.
The details
Hourly employment (timanställning) from mid-November until Christmas Eve, 24 December. There may also be extra hours in January.
