This exquisite Suzani features a distressed rusty base with patterned paisley and floral embroidery, intricately hand-embroidered in camel, orange, burgundy, pink and blue. Originating from the nomadic tribes of Central Asia — particularly Uzbekistan and Tajikistan — Suzanis were traditionally hand-stitched by brides as part of their dowry, symbolising luck, health, and fertility.
