Vintage Autumn Apples & Pears — Set of 16

A rare find:

A wonderfully unique vintage set of 16 apples and pears, hand-carved and lacquered in beautiful autumnal shades of burnt orange, rust and olive green.

Dating from 1970s America, this complete set has a wonderfully decorative presence and is perfect for creating an abundant autumn table. Scatter them among autumn leaves, seasonal foliage and candles, or layer them against a beautiful Suzani, as shown in the image.

The pieces show some signs of age, including a few small scuff marks, but are evenly patinated throughout. As with all our vintage finds, the set has been carefully inspected and has passed our internal quality control. We would only offer it because we feel the character and uniqueness of this particular set far outweigh these minor signs of wear.
